Join the fantastic Beartla Ó Flatharta Céilí Band and set dance master Ronán Eastwood for an evening of Set and Céilí Dancing.
The Beartla Ó Flatharta Céilí Band, founded in 2008 by childhood friends in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, is celebrated as one of Ireland’s leading exponents of traditional dance music, known for its vibrant and distinctive Kildare style. Named in honour of musician Beartla Ó Flatharta, the band has performed worldwide and, following a six-year hiatus, returned in 2024 to win the All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band title at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.
No experience required– Belfast dance master Ronán Eastwood will be calling the dances.
Venue & Event Information:
- Access to The Empire Music Hall is via approx. 12 stone steps with rails left and right. Two further sets of 2/3 steps into the foyer and main room. Unfortunately, there is no lift access. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
